Petite Arvine is thought to have originated in the Aosta Valley, leaving it in the late Middle Ages to settle on the sunny slopes of the Valais. Today, it is found only in this canton, where it has become one of the symbols of the wine industry. Delicate to grow, it produces an elegant wine with a salty finish. Grown on the Chamoson alluvial fan, this Petite Arvine comes from twenty-year-old vines with a yield limited to 700 g/m2.

Winemaking

Slow, gentle pressing, a single, low-temperature fermentation and six months' ageing in vats guarantee maximum fullness and roundness, while preserving the finesse and freshness of the aromas.

Dress

Yellow shaded with apple green.

Nose

The racy bouquet is characterized by notes of blackcurrant blossom, grapefruit and rhubarb.

Mouth

The delicate, complex structure ends with a saline finish characteristic of the grape variety.

Gastronomic pairings

Petite Arvine is the perfect companion for seafood platters, sweetbreads and cheese dishes, as well as warm foie gras. And don't forget the aperitif, where it expresses its full potential.
